P11 Marine Combat Knife is inspired by the knife designs used by military forces around the world, including the US military. The blade is a proven design made in 440C stainless steel (higher carbon content) with a sharp edge and partially serrated. Also it has a blood groove and false upper edge and the text in yellow “MARINE” printed on the durable black powder coated blade. This knife does have a full length steel tang. The handle grips are black in color with nice stippled texturing and made of molded ABS or polymer. Notice the short handguard? It is also made of steel on this P11 Marine Combat Knife. The pommel is painted in Red, white, blue, and gold colors and says United States at the top, and Marine at the bottom.
